ColaOS Pricing Explained: Token Plans, Credits, Free Access

How much does ColaOS cost?

ColaOS (built by MarsWave) uses monthly subscription plans called Token Plans, plus optional pay-as-you-go Credits. There are three tiers:

All three tiers share the same core benefits: the plan allowance refreshes every day, the reflection feature (Imprints, called Heart Trace in our earlier articles) and permanent memory are included at no extra cost, and each tier comes with a curated set of high-value models. Wander and Flow can also spend their plan allowance on image generation. The plans are currently sold in limited spots at special pricing.

Is there a free version of ColaOS?

No — there is no free plan and no free daily quota. The app itself is free to download and install, but ongoing use requires a Token Plan or Credits.

The only publicly known free entry is the invite system: sign up through an invite link (for example the public one on our invite codes page) and you get a 3-day Breeze plan trial. Breeze is the entry-level plan, so the trial covers the same curated models and features as a paid Breeze subscription.

What is the difference between Token Plans and Credits?

Token Plans are a discounted monthly subscription. They include a fixed allowance that refreshes every day at 8 AM Beijing time (UTC+8) — unused allowance does not roll over to the next day. Within the allowance you can use the models included in your tier.

Credits are pay-as-you-go: they are charged per use at standard model prices, paid Credits never expire, and they cover what plans do not — additional models, image and video generation, podcast and voice features. Credit packs are available in several sizes, plus a custom top-up option.

The official guidance is to pick based on your usage: steady daily users get better value from a plan; light or occasional users may prefer topping up Credits only. You can also combine both — a plan for daily work and Credits for heavy one-off tasks.

What happens when the daily allowance runs out?

You keep going with Credits. Once the day's plan allowance is used up, further usage is deducted from your Credits balance, and you can top up Credits whenever needed. The allowance then resets at 8 AM Beijing time the next morning. You can check your current plan and today's remaining allowance in the model selector inside the Cola chat interface.

Which models are included in each plan?

• All tiers: GLM 5.3 Flash, DeepSeek V4 Flash, and GPT 5.6 Luna.
• Wander and Flow: also GPT 5.6 Terra.
• Flow only: GPT 5.6 Sol — the frontier model tier.

The official FAQ notes that the plan lineup is updated over time, so the included models are expected to improve. Models outside your tier, plus features like search and video generation, are billed with Credits even if you have a plan.

Model updates from in-app notices:

• September 23, 2026: GPT 6 Sol and GPT 6 Luna went live in the Credits-billed lineup, priced about 50% below their GPT 5.6 counterparts, and the Credits-billed GPT 5.6 series is being phased out within about two days of the notice.
• September 28, 2026: The Claude series was scheduled for removal starting September 29, 2026, but on September 29 the team decided to keep it for now after user feedback. Chat history with Claude models is preserved.
• September 29, 2026: The Wander and Flow plans are sold out (plans use daily-limited spots). For the National Day period (September 29 – October 7), the DeepSeek Flash model in the Credits lineup is billed at 50% of its normal price.

None of the three notices mentioned changes to plan-included models — check the in-app model selector for the current lineup.

Payment, cancellation, and subscription management

Payments are processed through Stripe (major credit cards) and Alipay; available options can vary by region, so check the checkout page. You can cancel a subscription at any time from the desktop app under Settings → Balance & Usage → Token Plan Management — after cancelling, your plan benefits remain active until the end of the current billing period.
